Cambridge Azur 540a Works on low volume but as soon as you turn it up it cuts out flashing the protection LED 3 times which is temporary overload. Not my favourite amplifier to work on so it is sold as is for spares or repair with no returnsCosmetic condition although dirty is OK bar a bent corner on the front panel top left, see pictures. Cambridge Audio Azur 540A Amplifier - full working order.Fantastic amplifier.This is V1 therefore there is a place designed inside for Phono board, which is not available for V2.Ask me if you like Phono board to be installed (for additional £50-£60). Power lead included. No remote.UK only. p.s. circuit is identical to 640A. 1:1 with no differences in sound/signal path.Only difference between them is that 640A has 2 times more rectifier diodes, but when it comes to PSU smoothing capacitors - number of caps is the same and from there component number is the same in both models. It means 540A is as good as 640A. Happy to get offers.
