I have for sale a bang and olufsen beogram 5500 turntable with a mmc 2 Catridge. This is a loft find lights up etc seems to be doing what it should however I have no way to test the deck so selling as spares or repairs absolutely no returns on this as its obviously no use to me. Please keep this in mind before bidding or making an offer I have no idea to the working condition however it does light up arm move however I think it does need a new belt as the platter slow seems to stop the start could be because its been on loft awhile or because I tested in on sofa not sure but I would advise on a new belt? Will be well packed the top aluminium part seems to have been recovered at some point see photos. So once again selling as spares or repairs no returns could be a excellent bargain no reserve just really want it gone. Will consider sensible offers. I bought this second hand 8 years ago and it had just had a new turntable belt - it has not seen a huge amount of use, perhaps an hour or two each month. I play old vinyl and newer heavy vinyl and both play ok but the right hand channel sometimes drops out - I’m not sure how much is down to the quality of some of my vinyl or down to the stylus. This does not happen when playing from my phone via the tape input so that tells me the amplifier is ok. 50 watt amplifier (2 x 25). Dual output so 4 speakers can be connected (4 x 12.5) and individually selected as each pair or both pairs. Volume, bass, treble, balance all working. The FM tuner works - the rear antenna socket is loose but still functional. Phone / MP3 music can be connected via the “tape” - I play from my iPhone and it works great, see pics. I will include the cable for this. 2 x S60 watt speakers - fully functional. 2 x S75 watt speakers - fully functional. Speakers 590mm (H) x 320mm (W) x 230mm (D) - either vertical or horizontal mount. Speaker S60 or S75 badge rotates to suit how speaker is orientated. All speaker cables included. Overall in good presentable condition. No signs of any damage. This is a 40-50 year old iconic hi-fi brand, I am only selling as we plan to move and I need a system with smaller speakers. Bang & Olufsen B&O MMC 2 Original Stylus Cartridge. Selling as spares or repairs because I have no speakers to test it out properly when fitted to beogram you can hear a faint sound so it might be working OK however as stated cant test it properly so spares or repairs no returns so please keep that in mind. No reserve and sensible offers considered . Grab a bargain. Ps theres a small part of the black plastic cover. Missing see pictures however doesnt effect the Catridge. Thanks for looking.
