Es handelt sich bei den DM 603 um ein zwei-Wege System mit dem oben befindlichen Metall-Hochtöner, darunter einem 180mm Mittel-/Tieftöner und wiederum darunter einem Passivstrahler. Im Zusammenspiel ergibt sich ein wunderbar warmer Klang, bei dem auch die Höhen vollkommen überzeugen - ein absoluter Klassiker. Durch die warme Abstimmung sind die Lautsprecher sehr gut für elektronische Musik geeignet, können aber auch bei allen anderen Musikgenres sehr lebhaft mitspielen. Trotz des hohen Alters haben sie technisch keine Einschränkung und die Sicken sind noch schön weich, wie sie sein sollen. Optisch haben sie natürlich über die Jahre einige Macken im schwarzen Eschenfurnier gesammelt. Die auffälligste Macke ist sicherlich der an der einen Box hinten links ersichtliche. Bei geschickter Aufstellung sollte dies aber gut kaschierbar sein. Kleinere Macken lassen sich sicherlich übermalen, was ich jetzt nicht gemacht habe. Die eine Blende hat oben einen kleinen Bruch, wodurch die auf den Bildern ersichtliche Lücke zwischen Blende und Gehäuse entsteht. Aber auch dies sieht man nur bei genauerem Hinsehen. It is important to emphasize that all of the issues are purely cosmetic in nature. The sound quality of the speakers is not compromised in any way, and they are in excellent working condition, producing great sound. These speakers originate from a smoke-free environment and possess sequential serial numbers. To ensure their safe transportation, they will be carefully packed using multi-layered cardboard, suitable for shipping worldwide.
