Als ich den Receiver zuletzt benutzt,n hatte ergab sich folgendes Bild: Der Receiver geht an, aber er kratzt und die Lautstrke kommt ungleichmig. Mit ein bisschen Hingabe, knnte ich ihn zum verstrken des Fernsehtons verwenden. Bei den Lautsprechern sind die Sicken kaputt. Es gibt auch Kratzer. Keinerlei Garantie, denn ich bin Laie, liebe aber die Gerte und das zeitlose Design.

Another breakthrough during this decade was Beomaster 1900, a radio receiver and amplifier launched in 1976. Once again, design and operation differed dramatically from other contemporary products. Originally designed by Jacob Jenson, Beomaster 1900, together with Beomaster 2400-2 (AVAILABLE IN MY OTHER LISTINGS) were two advanced FM stereo receivers. They had identical technical specification and performance. Both were easy to use and easy to live with. Beomaster 2400-2 had the additional convenience of a cordless ultrasonic remote control module by which you could operate radio, amplifier and Beogram 2400-2 or 4004 record deck from a distance. Both receivers had touch-sensitive controls for operating the features and functions you used every day. All the secondary switches and adjustments were protected beneath a hinged lid, but an illuminated readout panel showed you the sets operational status at a glance. Beomaster 1900 boasted a powerful 2 x 30 watts RMS amplifier with distortion of less than 0,13%, five pre-set FM stations and comprehensive connection facilities. To operate it you simply touch the application dimples on the sets front panel. The radio section had 4 pre-set stations which could be summoned at a touch and the phase-lock loop decoder provided excellent stereo separation even in difficult reception conditions. The volume level could be pre-set at low, medium or high, and the music would always start at this level however much the volume control was altered last time the set was used. The sets controls were divided into primary and secondary functions. The latter, which were less frequently used, were placed underneath the hinged aluminium panel where they were protected from dust and accidental movement. A clear distinction was therefore made between the primary choice - accessible through a light touch - and the secondary choice, concealed under a lid hiding what the user did not need for daily use. At a stroke, what had been the norm for hi-fi in the past, with its macho grip and buttons, was eliminated. Bang&Olufsen Beomaster 1900 - Edel-HiFi mit Kultfaktor Dieser HiFi-Receiver war zu seinem Erscheinungszeitpunkt nicht minder futuristisch als heute. Ganz anders als viele Receiver der 2020er Jahre ist dies aber ein echtes Stück Qualitätsarbeit mit einem horrenden Neupreis. Bereits in der massiven Aluminiumklappe (welche die selten-benötigten Bedienelemente verbirgt) steckt bereits mehr Metall als im gesamten Gehäuse vieler „aktueller“ Geräte! Den massiven und hochwertigen Ringkerntransformator kann man beim Blick auf die Unterseite erahnen, bereits dessen Niveau ist meilenweit von den heutigen China-Steckernetzteilen entfernt… Die Bedienung über die „digitalen“ Sensorflächen und den Leuchtelementen ist eine wahre Freude - alles reagiert schnell und sauber wie am ersten Tag. Und vom Design dieses „Nutzerinterfaces“ haben sich ganz offensichtlich die Set-Designer eines gewissen weltbekannten TV-Raumschiffs inspirieren lassen… Der Klang ist angenehm warm und - subjektiv - ausgewogen. Mancher Digitalverstärkerfan würde auf jeden Fall „muffig“ dazu sagen - doch vor 40 Jahren wurden HiFi-Geräte einfach zurückhaltender abgestimmt als eine heutige Bluetooth-Brüllbox. Ich habe zwar auch häufig via Bass- und Höhenregler den Klang in Richtung „Badewannen-Equalizerkurve“ angepasst, doch der Reciever bietet mit seinem unaufdringlichen Grundcharakter eine eine gute Dauerhörbarkeit die einem nicht irgendwann nervt… Man kann (natürlich impedanzabhängig) bis zu 4 Lautsprecher anschließen, ferner gibt es einen TAPE-Anschluss (B&O-typische DIN-Ausführung, der sowohl Stereo-Ein- als auch Ausgänge umfasst) - und einen PHONO-Eingang welcher es ermöglicht, einen Plattenspieler direkt (also ganz ohne den sonst nötigen externen Plattenspielervorverstärker) anzuschließen. Wichtig - Die Auktion umfasst NUR den Beomaster-Receiver - aber NICHT die Lautsprecher: Die Boxen werden nicht verkauft! Da es kein weiteres Zubehör gibt, auch keine Anleitung (die wäre ziemlich überflüssig), ist ergo nur der Receiver selbst dabei, sonst nichts. Ein Netzkabel hat er übrigens. Der Beomaster war im Großen und Ganzen recht stetig in Benutzung ohne je irgendwelche Probleme zu zeigen, was wieder ein echter Qualitätsbeweis ist. Genutzt wurden dabei immer Tuner und Tapeeingang (als AUX für BT-Streamingbox etc), jedoch nicht der PHONO-Eingang (mangels Plattenspieler). Jetzt wurde er im Zuge einer Zimmerenovierung abgebaut und stand vorübergehend ungünstig-platziert im Keller, wovon das linke Seitenfurnier Flecken davongetragen hat. Das rechte Seitenfurnier ist am Rand altersbedingt ebenfalls etwas mitgenommen. Da man beide Seiten bei gewöhnlicher Betrachtung und Bedienung (also von vorne) ohnehin nicht sieht, fallen diese optischen Makel zum Glück nur unter sehr extremen Konstellationen auf. Jetzt vor dem Verkauf erfolgte zwar kein neuer regulärer Aufbau sondern nur noch ein kurzer (aber wie wie nicht anders zu erwarten erfolgreicher ) Testlauf mit Tunereinsatz und dem Ausprobieren sämtlicher Bedienelemente/Anzeigen. Seit Langem gibt es genau 1 Sache die akustisch auffällt - und zwar kratzt der BASS-Regler während des Betätigens, funktioniert aber ansonsten ganz normal und macht was er soll (also natürlich dann ohne Kratzen) Optisch ist der Beomaster ansonsten gepflegt, es gibt natürlich diverse Kratzer(chen), nach denen man aber schon gezielt suchen muss - nichts was einem unter normalem Lichtverhältnissen auffällt oder irgendwie entstellend wäre! Ich habe versucht, Nah-Detailfotos von entsprechenden Stellen zu machen wo dank überstarker LED-Leuchte alles übergross und -deutlich hervorgehoben wird was ich finden konnte, und zusätzlich sind die gefundenen Stellen markiert. Warum ich das alles so genau beschreibe? Ganz einfach: Angesichts der vielen unehrlichen und amoralisch handelnden Mitglieder will ich das Gegenteil praktizieren: Alle bekannten Mängel deutlich beschreiben OHNE absichtlich etwas zu verheimlichen; falls etwas nicht funktioniert oder optisch nicht mehr einwandfrei ist, wird es ohne wenn und aber erklärt bzw gezeigt! (Klar, wie jeder andere Mensch kann ich mal etwas ungewollt übersehen - aber das passiert dann nicht vorsätzlich!) Keine manipulierten oder kaschierenden Fotos. Ich erwähne offen falls etwas fehlt, also nicht mit dabei ist, es aber jeder Käufer regulär als vorhanden oder gegeben ansehen müsste. Vernünftige Verpackung mit gewissenhaftem allseitigem Transportschutz. Ehrliche Versandkosten mit selbstverständlichem Kombiversand ohne Portoabzocke. Da es ein großes Gerät ist, wird es ein HERMES PAKET LARGE. Nichtsdestotrotz ist das hier ein Privatverkauf und ich kann auch weder Gewährleistung noch Rückgaberecht bieten - für solche Features bitte an gewerbliche Verkäufer wenden! Und weil es da ganz großartige Menschenfreunde zu geben scheint: Markennamen gehören selbstverständlich dem entsprechenden Rechteinhaber.Am 24.09.23 hat der Verkäufer die folgenden Angaben hinzugefügt: Wegen eines akuten Infekts dürfte sich der Versand um ein paar Tage verzögern.

I have not attempted to switch it on (it needs a plug wired in) and as I have not use for this, it may well be of better use to someone who appreciates vintage hifi. With a little bit of care and attention, it has the potential to be a standout piece in your audio collection.

Bang & Oulfsen Beomaster 1900. Very good condition aesthetically. Works perfectly. My dad recently gave me his B&O system. I remember him playing his records back in the 70s. Sadly, after many years of not being used, the record player part didnt work. He took it to B&O who said it was actually and very sadly unrepairable. So, now Im selling this (and 2 large speakers, they are in a separate Ebay auction). I did set it all up. This and the speakers worked perfectly. I have no use for it now, plus a new but very small house, so no room for it. Ive shown in the photos its imperfections, to be honest, the aluminium looks better in real life than it does in the photo. Ive list as collection only, but Im happy if someone is interested in it that they can sort a courier. Collection is from Colchester, Essex. Please, note, it is very heavy. Will be sad to see this go.

Technical:Absolutely superb !Completely serviced prior to auctioning, had a lot of capacitors and some trimmers replaced, had a thorough service and adjustment of amplifier sections etc.Even the rubber feet are new! Tested for hours prior to auctioning.All functions work and all controls have a good response.All primary functions, choice of sound-source (FM1-5 / Tape / phono, volume setting and stand-by) are sensitouch fields. Another breakthrough during this decade was Beomaster 1900, a radio receiver and amplifier launched in 1976. Once again, design and operation differed dramatically from other contemporary products. Originally designed by Jacob Jenson, Beomaster 1900, together with Beomaster 2400-2 (AVAILABLE IN MY OTHER LISTINGS) were two advanced FM stereo receivers. They had identical technical specification and performance. Both were easy to use and easy to live with. Beomaster 2400-2 had the additional convenience of a cordless ultrasonic remote control module by which you could operate radio, amplifier and Beogram 2400-2 or 4004 record deck from a distance. Both receivers had touch-sensitive controls for operating the features and functions you used every day. All the secondary switches and adjustments were protected beneath a hinged lid, but an illuminated readout panel showed you the sets operational status at a glance. Beomaster 1900 boasted a powerful 2 x 30 watts RMS amplifier with distortion of less than 0,13%, five pre-set FM stations and comprehensive connection facilities. To operate it you simply touch the application dimples on the sets front panel. The radio section had 4 pre-set stations which could be summoned at a touch and the phase-lock loop decoder provided excellent stereo separation even in difficult reception conditions. The volume level could be pre-set at low, medium or high, and the music would always start at this level however much the volume control was altered last time the set was used. The sets controls were divided into primary and secondary functions. The latter, which were less frequently used, were placed underneath the hinged aluminium panel where they were protected from dust and accidental movement. A clear distinction was therefore made between the primary choice - accessible through a light touch - and the secondary choice, concealed under a lid hiding what the user did not need for daily use. At a stroke, what had been the norm for hi-fi in the past, with its macho grip and buttons, was eliminated. Instead, designer Jacob Jensen created a new design language, flat flush-designed and electronically communicating, which did not target a few techno-freaks, but a much wider audience who wanted music rather than hi-fi equipment. Es ist auch spielbereit, der Sensor in der FM 5 Taste verweigert die Arbeit.
