Funktion:Das Gerät ist technisch in Ordnung, alle Eingänge für die weiteren Komponenten funktionieren und werden auch im Display angezeigt, wenn sie angewählt wurden. Der Sound ist umwerfend dynamisch und hat genug Reserven, um auch die Musik der Genres von Klassik bis Jazz und Hardrock authentisch rüber zu bringen.Für die Steuerung des Receivers empfehle ich das Master Control Panel 5500 (siehe meine weiteren Auktionen). Aber auch Beolink 1000, besser noch die Beo4 funktionieren, bieten aber nicht den vollen Programmier-Umfang wie das MCP 5500. Auf der rechten Unterseite des Receivers fehlen 2 Füßchen , die ich durch doppellagige Filzuntersetzer ersetzt habe, weil die Gummis erodiert waren und das Gerät beim herumrücken die Mögl zerkratzt hat (siehe Bild) Folgende, altersbedingte optische Mängel sind leider erkennbar:Kratzer und Schleifspuren auf der Oberseite des Gehäuses vom stapeln der anderen Komponenten. Ein Kratzer auf der linken Metallgehäuseseite (siehe Bild), der sich leider nicht so einfach wegstapeln läßt.35 Jahre Nutzung hinterlassen dann doch ihre Spuren. The Beomaster 5500 and the Beocenter 9000 were the first of these.The position of the Beomaster 5500 in the range had changed too, with the Beomaster 6000 deleted it was now the top of the range, so all the latest technical refinements had to be included.The basic appearance changed very little.
