This is from a series VI Bose 901, perfect for your restoration, the pin on back is just a little nub so this will need some hot wax or similar, then push it in place until set, and its good to go!

Complete set of NINE 901 VI drivers, these are 901 VI but perfect for anything series III and on ! These are perfect for series III IV V and VI, years ago I restored a set of series IV with drivers like these with fantastic results! Tested out on my own 901 system and they all sound great as expected!

BOSE 901 SERIES V Vintage SPEAKERS PAIR working NO EQ. Very good condition, recently used and working perfectly. Minor scuffing and wear to the walnut cabs. The grilles are all in good shape, no rips or tears. Speaker foam is all in good shape. I bought these from a friend a few years ago and used them for a while. I was rebuilding another set of speakers at the time and do not need these 901s anymore. Please be aware -- the speakers came to me WITHOUT the Bose EQ unit, this was not a problem for me as I was able to flatten their response using a receiver that has a lot of tone controls. So, these speakers are being sold AS IS without the EQ. They have that great vintage Bose sound, and sonically disappear into the wallpaper. I was using them in a long, skinny room with one speaker at each end -- they work quite well in that configuration as they provide that unique music coming from everywhere direct/reflected sound. If youve ever wanted a pair of these, they are worth it. I would be using them if I didnt have my vintage McIntosh XR5s. LOCAL PICKUP ONLY PLEASE
