Zustand praktisch neuwertig (Kaufdatum April 2021)Neupreis ca. 650 € Noch ein paar Details zum Hintergrund von Cardas Audio: Das Parsec Headphone tritt im Jahr 2019 die Nachfolge des Cardas Cross Headphone an, welches 16 Jahre lang das wohl erfolgreichste Upgrade-Kabel auf dem Weltmarkt war. Das neue Parsec setzt auf noch feinere einzeln gelackte Litzen mit einer etwas dickeren Isolierung zwischen den vier Kabelbündeln, die allesamt im goldenen Schnitt angeordnet sind. Die vier Kabelbündel sind sprialförmig im Inneren des Kabels geführt und werden jetzt aus einer Kombination von Adern und halbleitenden Bändern geschirmt.Im direkten klanglichen Vergleich mit dem erfolgreichen Vorgängermodell ergibt sich eine erweiterte Raumdarstellung und noch feinere Artikulation von Details. Das Parsec bleibt dabei dem Klangbild der ganzen Parsec-Kabel-Linie des Hauses treu und spielt insgesamt eher warm und satt und bietet eine samtigen Hochtonbereich. Unverändert ist die sehr geringe Mikrofonie-Empfindlichkeit und gute Haltbarkeit des Kabels, welches jetzt in einem dunklen grün geliefert wird und somit dezenter wirkt als das Vorgängermodell. Wie bei allen anderen Cardas-Kopfhörerkabeln geschieht die Fertigung nach Kundenwunsch. Die Eingangs- und Ausgangs-Konfiguration sind somit frei wählbar. Cardas-Kabel werden von Hand in Bandon (Oregon/USA) angefertigt.
