Purchased this from Upscale Audio on 7/27/23. It sat in my stand for 2 months waiting for my new turntable to arrive. The first time I put it on I ran into a problem with the phono stage. Today when I relocated the phono stage I turned on the Cary and heard a loud pop from the amp which eventually turned to smoke coming from the unit. I pulled out the plug and placed it on the table you now see in the pics. I cannot return this to the dealer as I bought this as a final sale so this auction is for someone who is handy with this equipment and can fix whatever caused this to pop and smoke.
