Here I offer my fine Chord Clearway RCA stereo to 5-Pin DIN analogue interconnect, 1.0m length, in immaculate condition - an ideal interconnect for Naim & Quad amps Chord Qutest Hugo DAC. This is a gorgeous interconnect which delivered the best music from my Chord Qutest DAC to my Naim-based system. It provided a big improvement in detail, balance and soundstage when I bought it last year. Now no longer needed so deserves to give pleasure to a new music-lover owner. Heres Chords own description of this lovely audio interconnect: Chord Clearway RCA to DIN Interconnects We’ve taken the design from the award winning C-line and upgraded all the materials to produce an outstanding value for money handmade high-performance analogue interconnect. The Clearway interconnect uses the same ARAY conductor geometry that we first used on the Chord C-line, and we’ve upgraded all the materials, The ARAY geometry conductors are heavier gauge oxygen free copper, insulation has been upgraded to FEP and the shielding is a dual-layer counter-wound heavy gauge foil design. The improvements mean that the Clearway carries more musical detail. Dynamics are better, instruments and voices sound more realistic and there is better definition and clarity. The Clearway will let you see further into and get more involved with the music you listen to. Right now cables need to be better than ever, there are very affordable turn tables and digital players that deliver music with real coherence. The jump in performance over the past couple of years has been amazing, especially in relation to less expensive equipment. They need a new generation of cables, and those cables need to be able to carry a signal with the musical coherence that the new digital and analogue players are producing. Not every cable works with DIN connectors so one of the key areas during the design of the Clearway Analogue cable was that we could use it to produce a high performance cost effective DIN to DIN and DIN to RCA cable. All our Clearway analogue cables are built in house and the DIN terminated versions of the Clearway analogue require the skill and experience that we have from spending the past thirty years building and developing DIN cables. Equipment that is fitted with DIN sockets tends to be either Naim Audio or older Quad equipment, we have huge experience in building both and the Clearway Analogue DIN cables can be fitted with either 4 pin or 5 pin silver-plated DIN plugs. Just like the Clearway RCA, the Clearway DIN cables use the same ARAY conductor configuration to produce DIN-to-DIN and DIN-to-RCA cables that carry a musical signal with the same degree of musical coherence and detail that the RCA version carries. Whether it’s a current Naim amplifier or an old Quad pre- and power amplifier, the DIN terminated Clearway cables will let you hear more of the performance that these components are capable of. The standard length of Clearway DIN cables is 1m. Many years ago we established that shorter length cables have a detrimental effect on Naim Audio amplifiers. Longer custom lengths are not a problem. For Sale one Chord Co 2 RCA to 5-Pin Din interconnect lead 1m. long.This is a vintage interconnect cable, reliable and very good sounding.This cable was developed by The Chord Company for use with top quality equipment like NAIM. The RCA connectors are nice Deltron types. The RCA plugs have a signal flow directional arrow. The 5-pin din is a 180degree latching type plug ideal for earlier Naim equipment. The interconnect is in perfect working order with clean connectors and no marks.
