CJ Walker CJ55 Turntable with Hadcock GH228 Unipivot Tonearm. A very rare, highly collectible and beautiful sounding early British turntable and tonearm. Refurbished & Serviced holds speed beautifully and will give many years of listening pleasure. Suspended wooden Sub chassis with a 10mm bronze bearing, sub platter and platter made of Tufnol. On/off is via the discrete button on the front. Runs either 33.3rpm or 45rpm, speed is changed by lifting the (new) belt between the different sized pulleys. Certainly scores high on the “Partner Approval Factor” ratings :) I would keep it but I’m having to have a bit of a clear out as I’m setting up a new hi-fi dealership! If you’ve any questions please feel free to ask, happy to demonstrate prior to sale just so that I know you’ll be leaving happy! Alternatively can deliver and set it up in your home upon a non refundable deposit of £50. Advertised Elsewhere. ** This was advertised with a Michell Focus Unipivot tonearm but after a bit of thought I felt that the Hadcock suited it better. The Michell arm will be up for sale soon or I could put it back on if you’d prefer?
