Denon DCD-560 Compact Disc CD Player in fully working and lovely clean condition. It shows some signs of previous use such as light scratching to the top lid, which is not highly visible without close inspection or when stacked with other equipment (see photos) but is otherwise in good condition. Recently serviced prior to sale with a new CD Tray belt fitted, linear rails cleaned and re-greased, and lens physically cleaned. An excellent sounding CD player thanks to its 20bit 8 times oversampling digital filter. Includes the power lead only. No remote control or other accessories are included! A rare silver-faced Denon DCD-560 CD player in full working order and complete with original and correct RC-207 remote control. This was part of Denons range from 1990 to 1991, a golden era for outstanding CD players, and is factory fitted with twin Burr Brown PCM61P DACs (digital to audio converters, one per audio channel). It has been serviced and refurbished just prior to listing. A new genuine original Sony laser unit has been fitted then set up and adjusted for optimum performance using an oscilloscope as per the service manual. Also a new tray belt has been fitted, the sled mechanism has been cleaned and lubricated, spindle motor lubricated, and all the internal leaf switches have been cleaned for optimum electrical contact. The circuit board has been checked over for dry solder joints and out of spec capacitors (2 capacitors in the power supply section have been replaced with high quality Panasonic ones). The outside casing, buttons and LED display have been thoroughly cleaned and the headphone volume control has been cleaned with contact cleaner. An excellent machine that reads the Table of Contents of CDs and CDRs almost instantaneously. Moves rapidly between tracks and is silent in operation. Buttons on the front control the usual features such as program and repeat, as well as time display (elapsed time, track time remaining or disc time remaining). The headphone output has its own volume knob. The unit has RCA outputs for connecting to an amplifier. The remote control operates the opening of the disc tray, track select, all the programmable functions, and will also change the time display. The front of the metal fascia is in very good condition for its age with no scratches, chips or rubbing. I cannot find any stacking marks or scratches on the lid. The bluish white LED display is clear, bright and unblemished. Dimensions: 434 x 100 x 280mm. From a smoke-free home.
