This is a great system that I used happily over the last 10 years. I am selling now because I moved to a house and need larger (louder) speakers. The sound is very balanced with high clarity and little distortion in the usable range. Condition is good with minor scratches on the cases and imperfections on the grills (see pictures). Energy Speaker Systems ESW-8 Subwoofer NOT WORKING. For parts. Would not automatically shut off, and it overheated with a bad smell. Now when I plug it in, the blue light comes on. But I dont dare leave it plugged in. The speaker cone looks perfect. Some minor scratches on the top.
