This high-end dual cassette deck is loaded with features. However its 16VAC operating sytem was designed for use with the Fisher RS-881 receiver/amplifier system, according to its label. (That unit also had an accessory 16VAC record turntable.) It takes 16VAC through the special plug shown in last photo..... power was supplied through a socket on the receiver. It would work with any appropriate power supply (16VAC), not just that in the original system...... but I dont have any to test it with. (I THINK 18-20VAC or so would also work, based on my limited experience with other electronics when supplied with moderate overvoltages..... but hey, I am a CHEMIST, and not an electronics expert at all.) So offering it strictly AS-IS, and CHEAP! It has RCA stereo sockets on back for audio input and output, for dubbing from other media to tapes, or playing from tapes.
