Item Details This was cleared out of an old house. It was not wanted anymore. I bought it to sell on. Personally, I know quite a bit about such items.Please see photos for a good idea of condition. It has some small scratches on front left.. I like to mention everything I can see.. SIZE 15.75 inches long. 10.6 inches deep. Unfortunately this player did not come with a plug on it. The wires are both the same colour with no sign of which could be live and which could be neutral ?? This means I dont want to risk adding a plug as I think it may damage the machine in some way if I get it wrong? This player does not look easy to take apart either... I looked at how it is done and its job for someone who knows what they are doing. .. I dont want to risk breaking it in any way. Due to where this come from, I very strongly believe this 8 track will work when the correct wires have a plug on them.. I rarely have problems with the items I choose to sell (lease see my feedback) As I cannot test it myself, if anything fundamental is found to be wrong with this item when its used for its purpose, I would take it back and a full refund would be given. Vintage Hitachi 8 Track Recorder Deck TRQ-134D Tested and working but I do not have speakers so it was only partially tested. I plugged it in and put a tape in and it appears to be playing. The eject button does not appear to be functioning properly but I was able to pull the tape out without any issues. Selling AS IS.
