Das Gerät wurde lediglich 2 getestet und wieder eingepackt, keinerlei Gebrauchsspuren, somit eigentlich ABSOLUT NEU. Mit Restgarantie (Kauf vom 03.09.2022). HIFIMAN stellte bereits im Jahr 2008 einen ersten elektrostatischen Kopfhörer unter dem Namen Jade vor. Unter chinesischen Audiophilen erlangte dieser schnell große Anerkennung. 2019 hat HIFIMAN den populären Hörer grundlegend überarbeitet und exportiert das neue Kopfhörer-Verstärker-System Jade II auch nach Europa.Der Jade II setzt auf einen innovativen nanopartikelbeschichteten Treiber mit einer Dicke von unter 0,001 mm, der von ebenso dünnen Staubschutzfolien abgesichert wird. Durch die elektrostatische Konstruktion ist es möglich, eine dünnere Membran zu verwenden als bei den HIFIMAN-Magnetostaten. Dadurch ist das Klangbild noch etwas filigraner und schneller, ohne dabei ins unnatürlich Kalte abzudriften. Der Jade II benötigt eine Speisespannung von 550 bis 650 Volt. Sein Frequenzgang ist mit 7 Hz – 90 kHz weiter als bei dynamischen und magnetostatischen Modellen. Die Gesamtkonstruktion des Kopfhörers ist sehr leicht. Er ist mit der bewährten Kopfbandkonstruktion des ANANDA versehen, das einen großen Einstellbereich hat und damit für große und kleine Köpfe passt. Idealerweise kombiniert man den Jade II mit dem passenden elektrostatischen Treiberverstärker von HIFIMAN. Dieser basiert auf einer klassischen Transistorschaltung, die mit modernen Bauteilen realisiert wurde. Das ungewöhnlich geformte Gehäuse gefällt nicht nur dem Musikhörer, sondern bildet gleichzeitig den Kühlkörper für die Abwärme der Transistoren. Schlitze im angehobenen Unterboden und auf der Rückseite sorgen zudem für einen dauerhaften Luftzug um die Bauteile. Die Lautstärkeregelung ist, wie bei HIFIMAN typisch, mit Einzelwiderständen realisiert. Es kann somit auch auf lange Sicht keine Kanalungleichheit geben. Der Jade-II-Treiberverstärker hat einen RCA- und einen XLR-Eingang, zwischen denen an der Front umgeschaltet werden kann. Klanglich sind diese beiden Eingänge gleich. Der XLR-Eingang empfiehlt sich zum Beispiel für längere Kabelwege von der Quelle zum Verstärker. Nach dem Einschalten blinkt die Leuchtdiode auf der Front für einige Sekunden, bis die Speisespannung aufgebaut ist. Erst dann wird das Signal freigegeben und auf Dauerleuchten umgeschaltet. Mit dem Verstärker können auch Elektrostaten anderer Hersteller mit STAX-Pro-Anschluss betrieben werden. Es stehen zwei Ausgänge zu Verfügung.Die Jade-II-Kombination aus Hörer und Verstärker spielt hervorragend – im Zweifelsfall auch richtig laut – und ist im Bass trocken und kontrolliert. Im Gegensatz zu vergleichbaren Modellen anderer Herstellern hält sich der Bass nicht zurück, sondern ist gerade richtig dosiert. Vorausgesetzt ist eine Einspielzeit von gut 100 Stunden.
