An extraordinary example of the mighty Krell KAV-250a two channel power amp. This unit is fresh from a full spa treatment at Krell Industries, Orange, CT in June of 2023. Krell factory technicians thoroughly tested and inspected this unit. All recommended service was performed including thermal and fuse updates for an overheating recall. The unit is verified as meeting original factory specs. A detailed invoice of work performed is included in this listing. The amp has less than one hour of use since its return to ensure proper operation, and has not yet been put back into service. For all intents and purposes, it’s new. It drives my 4ohm speakers with authority and clarity that must be heard. There is not a finer example anywhere. This amp is adult owned and has been meticulously maintained. There is a small mark on the case from shipping, but otherwise, is pristine. Sorry, the original owner did not retain the original packing material when I purchased it. This is a very powerful amplifier, rated @ 250 watts/channel into 8 ohms; 500 watts/channel into 4 ohms in stereo mode, and 1000 watts into 8 ohms bridged mono mode. It is a dual mono design, fully complimentary and balanced from input to output. The input/driver stage is class A.
