1978 Klipsch Heritage La Scalas for sale. All original drivers in perfect working condition, I have new B&K A/4500s Xovers These are in good condition, but do have some wear and small chips. They are really really nice for 1978 speakers. Pick up only

One owner , manufactured and bought new in 1977. Consecutive serial numbers . Both speakers were upgraded in 1995 to the K–55–M squwakers, K–77–M tweeters, AL crossover networks, and the industrial K–43–E 200 watt woofers. The original unfinished birch plywood has been stained. A custom black plexiglass top piece has been installed. Protective aluminum trim protects all edges and corners. Two casters have been installed at the bottom of the rear panel on each speaker. Side inset handles have been installed on both speakers. Both speakers exhibit minor surface scratches, but no major damage is present. Both speakers are in excellent working order . Delivery , meeting exchange negotiable in Pacific Northwest.

All the components and speakers are in place, including the crossovers. A project for someone who has the time and desire. Working band for over 20 years, various parts replaced. Everything was working last time I used them...in 2004. Tested everything last week...various components need replacement, but most speakers worked. Lot $500. Will deliver to Central Maryland.

My son and I build custom furniture and do a lot of work using veneers and exotic woods. We are both Audio Nuts. I fell in love with Klipsch speakers in the early 1960s and have loved them since. In the last few years, we have started collecting and storing older speakers from Klipsch, Altec, JBL, and Electro Voice, mostly Klipsch. We plan to repair or replace any defective drivers or crossovers and give the enclosures a cool custom look, but not change any of the great soundAll of the drivers sounded great. Before we started doing the veneer work, we repaired the enclosures and sprayed them in black lacquer. These have been reveneered in Black Limba. We finished off the enclosures with three coats of pre-catalyzed lacquer from Sherwin Williams, and the crossovers have been recapped.
