Serviced and PSU eleectrolytic capacitors (9) replaced by PJ HiFi September 2014 at which point the Ortofon Quintet Red cartridge was fitted. Hardly used since then - no more than 30-40 hours. (Cartridge now retails c.£400). Speed change fully functional (if a bit slower than I remember but fine) and it still sounds great. Will demo before buyer takes - I still have all the original packaging. This is strictly collection only sale - I will not ship.

Apart from a crack near one of the hinges, in the lid, and a couple of minor marks on the lid… it has little else in the way of cosmetic imperfections. The Akito has no stickiness and it sounds great. The PSU has been checked over, and although we normally re-cap Axis PSU’s we havnt on this occasion as this one is operating as it should, with no issues. Please inspect the pictures (please also use the zoom function on the photos) and be sure of what you are buying, please don’t buy this if you are at all unsure, I will answer any questions you have, just email BEFORE PURCHASING.
