Turntable comes with Fidelity Research FR-34 tonearm. This model has a direct drive 20-pole 60-slot brushless DC servo motor. The platter is a cast aluminum and really heavy. The PD121 is designed to be as heavy as possible while taking into consideration not only the required inertial mass but also the resonance and strength of the motor bearings and parts. A bayonet mount type arm base is adopted for the arm base, and it is designed so that various arms can be replaced with one touch. The chassis uses an aluminum die-cast chassis of sufficient strength and weight, and the top panel uses a 3 mm anodized aluminum panel, which is held firmly in place with rubber and wooden frames for damping. A 3-layer structure insulator is used for the leg part. In this insulator, the spring is dumped with rubber and the entire body is dumped with silicon grease to achieve both the compliance and braking necessary for vibration isolation. 4 mm thick heavyweight acrylic is used for the acrylic cover. For the turntable sheet, we have adopted a material equivalent to the chamois leather with good adhesion.
