Hallo ! Int. bidders see below. Zum Verkauf kommt ein Marantz CD 73 CD Player. Das Gerät wurde auf ebay gekauft und wie folgt aufgearbeitet. Das Gehäuse, die Platinen und die Schublade auseinander genommen und gereinigt. Alle Elko Kondensatoren gegen langzeitstabile Typen von Rubycon, Nichicon, Panasonic und Würth getauscht. Die Werte wurden an den Maximalwerten von Marantz angelehnt getauscht, aber nicht darüber hinweg. Die PSU wurde geprüft, die Regulatoren neu entkoppelt mit Thermopads aus dem Computersektor. Die Steuerplatine der Schublade wurde ausgebaut, die Kondensatoren getauscht und die Platine geprüft. Die Schublade wurde auseinander gebaut, das Laufwerk geprüft und auf dem Laufwerksverstärker wurden die Kondensatoren getauscht. Das Laufwerk wurde bei Focus neu eingepegelt, bei Laser und Nachlauf neu eingestellt. Die LED in der Schublade wurden zum Teil getauscht, es wurden moderne Weiss LED eingebaut. Die Compact Disc Anzeige wurde mit einer blauen LED und einem Controllerchip versehen - sieht auf den Fotos nicht gut aus, ist real aber einfach nur Marantz blau.... Die LED Anzeige wurden mit neuen LED versehen, die Kondensatoren getauscht. Die LED haben 750 mcd und damit ca das anderthalbfache der alten, sieht man bei Tageslicht aber nicht. Der Controller wurde geprüft, die Elko Kondensatoren getauscht bis auf die beiden Bipolaren 16V 15 uF, hier musste auf neue MLCC Keramiks von TDK ausgewichen werden. Der Dekoder wurde geprüft. Die Elko Kondensatoren wurden getauscht, die Kondensatoren der DAC Versorgung durch Präzisionstype von Vishay ersetzt (PPS). Die Widerstände des Timing wurden durch Präzisionstypen von Vishay und TE ersetzt. Die Opamps wurden gegen Fassungen getauscht. Aktuell sind auf Adaptern die derzeit wohl besten Texas Typen 2189 eingesetzt, die Nachfolger des BurrBrown 2192. Die I/V Verstärkung wurde auf reine Verstärkung umgesetzt und mit einem Folienwiderstand von Vishay versehen. Das Filter wurde neu aufgebaut mit einem Arbeitspunkt von 20000 Hz, es wurden hier Folienkondensatoren von Wima eingesetzt und TE Präzisionswiderstände. Die Entkopplung durch den Hochpass wurde auf einen Folienkondensator mit parallelem Elko umgestellt, der Widerstand an den Folienkondensator angepasst. Das marode Ausgangsrelais wurde entfernt, der nachgeschaltete Filter komplett entfernt. Die Endwiderstände wurden durch Folienwiderstände von Vishay ersetzt. Alle Widerstände und Kondensatoren wurden links und rechtsseitig gematched mit einem Rigol der 1000 Euro Klasse. Der Schalter zur Überbrückung des Analogfilter wurde eingebaut und die Überbrückung verkabelt mit Reinsilberkabel. Das Gerät läuft aktuell gut, auch lange CD werden problemlos abgespielt. Für CDR müsste der Laser neu angepasst werden bei der Laserspannung, statt 550 mV runter auf ca 400 mV. Soweit der Überarbeitungsprozess. Ich habe in den Spieler soweit alles eingebaut was gut und dem Sound zuträglich ist. Das falsche Filter von Philips in der Output Stage wurde korrigiert. Der Spieler benötigt weiterhin ein gutes Analogfilter und wird von mir bewusst nicht auf NOS umgestellt - das würde ein Filter neunter Ordnung erfordern, einfach nur Mist. Nach einigen Recherchen habe ich nun aber einen Schalter installiert mit dem der Ausgang wahlweise abgeschaltet - Mittelstellung - oder das Analogfilter eingeschleift oder umgangen werden kann - die beiden anderen Stellungen. Die kranke Relaislösung mit nachgeschalteten Filter wurde entfernt, es muss der Spieler also an- und abgeschaltet werden ohne als Quelle zu laufen, sonst gibt es das gefürchtete Plop in der Anlage. Die Filteranpassung ermöglicht weg von dem Parasiten im I/V zu gehen und auf reine Verstärkung umzustellen. Das wird von so ziemlich jedem Opamp honoriert. Mein TEAC D500 macht das genauso. Die Umstellung auf einen Folienkondensator als Entkopplung mit parallelem Elko kommt ebenfalls zum tragen. Kein Elko ist mehr direkt im Signalweg. Bleibt nur das ich bei den genutzten Teilen das mir beste genutzt habe, nur die weißen LED waren etwas älter, sind aber noch für mindestens 50000 Stunden gut laut Hersteller. Da der Player an sich nun schon über 36 Jahre alt ist erübrigt sich das Thema von Garantie. Ich kann hier keine geben. Die neuen Teile sind alle Langzeitstabil und langlebig. The controller was checked, the electrolytic capacitors exchanged except for the two bipolar 16V 15 uF, here we had to switch to new MLCC ceramics from TDK. The decoder has been checked. The electrolytic capacitors were exchanged, the capacitors of the DAC supply replaced by precision type from Vishay (PPS). The timing resistors have been replaced by precision types from Vishay and TE. The opamps were exchanged for sockets. The currently best Texas types 2189 are used on adapters. The I / V amplification was converted to pure amplification and provided with a foilresistor from Vishay. The filter was rebuilt with a working point of 20,000 Hz, foilcapacitors from Wima and TE precision resistors were used. The decoupling through the high pass was switched to a foilcapacitor with a parallel electrolytic capacitor, the resistor was adapted to the foil capacitor. The ailing output relay was removed, the downstream filter completely removed. The terminating resistors have been replaced by foilresistors from Vishay. All resistors and capacitors were matched with a Rigol of the 1000 Euro class. The switch for the bypass of the analog filter was installed and the cables were made from pure silver wire. The device is currently running well, even long CDs can be played without any problems. For CDR, the laser would have to be readjusted for the laser voltage from 550mV down to 400 mV. So much for the revision process. I have built everything into the player that is good and beneficial to the sound. Corrected the wrong Philips filter in the Output Stage. The player still needs a good analog filter and I deliberately wont switch to NOS - that would require a ninth order filter, just crap. After some research I have installed a switch with which you can shut off the output - middle - or put in the analog filter or bypass it at all - the two other positions. The sick relay solution with a downstream filter has been removed, so the player has to be switched on and off without running as a source, otherwise there will be the dreaded pop in the system. The filter adjustment enables you to move away from the parasite in the I / V and switch to pure amplification. Pretty much every opamp honors that. My TEAC D500 does the same thing. The switch to a foil capacitor as decoupling with a parallel electrolytic capacitor also comes into play. There is no longer any electrolytic capacitor directly in the signal path. All that remains is that I used the best of the parts I used, only the white LEDs were a bit older, but are still good for at least 50,000 hours according to the manufacturer. Since the player is already over 36 years old, there is no need for a warranty. I cant give one here. The new parts are all long-term stable and durable.
