This receiver looks like it has not been used. But It has been out of the box so I will call it used. I hooked up a couple of old speakers and tested several functions. As testing this I found in the Manual that the remote control is a UNIVERSAL REMOTE the factory sent with this unit. I had trouble with this remote getting it to operate this receiver. So then I had to read the 50 page Manual on operating the remote. It did help and I was able to get many functions to operate. But still had some trouble. Im just not very good with operating this type of equipment.. This is a > HIGHLY SOPHISTICATED MUTI FUNTION COMPUTERIZED RECEIVER. < It is not a simple PLUG N PLAY system. Marantz SR5008 AV Surround Receiver (ACHTUNG: Relais hat einen Wackelkontakt!). Der Receiver ist (eingeschränkt) funktionstüchtig: Die Lautstärke fällt gelegentlich (alle paar Tage / Wochen) ab. Dreht man den Lautstärkenregler (per Fernbedienung oder direkt am Volumeregler) höher, erhält das Relais mehr Spannung und aktiviert die Lautstärkenreglung. Das Relais ist aber noch original von Marantz erhältlich (wenn man ein Originalteil haben möchte). Diese Information habe ich von einer Fachwerkstatt für High-End-Geräte, die sich das Gerät angeschaut haben. Über ein Jahr habe ich mit dieser Einschränkung gut leben können und es hat mich nur zum Teil gestört. Die Surround-Funktion habe ich nie genutzt und bin schlussendlich zu einem 2.2 - Verstärker zurückgekehrt. Ansonsten ist der Verstärker gehegt und gepflegt worden und weist nahezu keine Gebrauchsspuren auf. Der Ausstattungsumfang ist vollständig.
