It is made of light weight gun metal (aka red brass), an alloy of copper, tin and zinc. We have listed an exact reproduction of the original AX-4 on another ad. (The reproduction is almost triple the weight of the original part so its probably made of steel, an alloy of iron and carbon.) As you can see in the photos this arm board is complete and in excellent condition. Shown in the photos for this ad, we recently listed five other M.S. arm boards in addition to this one. It is made of light weight gun metal (aka red brass), an alloy of copper, tin and zinc. Another AX-2 of ours is listed on a different ad. As you can see in the photos one of the mounting screws is broken. Its possible to re-tap the hole but this arm board is non functional as it is. The price reflects the damage.
