Item Description: Here we have a pair of the magnificent Lumley Audio Monitor LM2 speakers. Wonderful sounding a sheer joy to listen too.. reviews will tell you that they need hundreds of watts to make them sing.. i have to report that even when driven by a NAD 3020, these still sound sublime… This pair are in full working order, with no evident operatonal issues. The high freqency output can be changed by moving the jumpers on the back of the cabinets, i have them set on the lowest setting, which suits me down to the ground, they are so rich and engaging in the mid, that i found it hard to get any work done today! the grills on one has slightly shorter fasteners, which meens the cloth rested on the mid’s dome giving them a slight flat spot, but this is academic. the other ones seems to have the correct length fasteners, so it sits a bit proud of the domes, a minor point, but one i thought i should mention… you’d probably use them with the grills off anyway... one of the domes has a few dimples, but again, this is purely cosmetic. The cabinets are pretty good, and look wonderful in the classic American Oak finish. The bottom of the cabs have a frew minor nicks, but these are hardly noticeable in operation, that sad, they are still great examples and look great… Very heavy, These are a 2 person lift, so don’t attempt to move them on your own. Will be shipped via pallet.
