Here is a really rare NAGRA JBR SPY recorder from a recently purchased collection of NAGRA Machines. This is a pocket recorder including remote stop start switch and a pair of microphones. The unit appears to run ok when batteries are inserted but as I do not have a playback unit cant verify the state of recordings. The battery carrier has no corrosion as shown in the photos it is a low serial number unit 2604505, the internals all look pristine. It comes with 1 x NAGRA JBR tape and in original NAGRA box as supplied in Australia. Also included is an original manual, I also cant guarantee what secrets may be recorded on the tape. The head shows no wear at all as do most of the tape path guides, the rear top cover retaining clip is missing. Shipping is quoted as tracked with signature required, but insurance will only be quoted on final sale depending on shipping method and country. It has the David Lane face plate and internal board/s There is no power supply (4 pin) so there is no way to test this unit. I am selling an extremely rare Mixer which was built for the NAGRA 4S. There are special Screws on the side. These machines were made in a small quantity. In the Internet I have read, that arround 100 to 125 were made.But my machine shows the serial number 160 if a can read it right... Unfortunately I cannot test this machine because it needs 12 thick batteries... There is no connection for an external power supply. If I am able to check the functionality in the next week, I will add this information here, but till then, i sell it as not working (even if the person, whom I bought it from promised me, that it works) The shape is good for its age... Battery Contacts are very clean... It is portable, but heavy... Feel free to ask me questions.
