So I actually sold this CD changer for a good amount of money here on eBay recently. Prior to initially listing it the thing worked perfectly fine, but in the process of storing it, one of the simple little rubber belts had broke. I took it upon myself to replace it because it is a fairly simple job, but the mistake I made was taking out the disc trays (when I didn’t even need to) because when I went to put them back together I realized it wasn’t as simple as I anticipated it to be because they are on a timing mechanism. So if anyone knows how to put these things together, this is right up your ally and you can easily turn it around to make a good profit or to keep it.

New high quality belts were installed, other parts were cleaned and lubricated, laser pickup sensitivities and focus bias measured and adjusted. The original SONY laser pickup is sensitive and sharp, very fast seeking and quickly locks to sound tracks. Discs can be loaded, ejected and shuffled smoothly. No jitters or skips in playback. All buttons and connectors work as desired. Burn-in tested for over 72 hours. Originally built in 2005, the unit is in excellent cosmetic condition with a few minor scratches and nicks on the cover.
