DescriptionThis is an MD-105FX MD deck from the ONKYO INTEC205 series, the last model of the INTEC205 series MD decks. After a simple cleaning of the pickup lens, the lens and recording head were dry cleaned and playback of normal MD, MDLP, and Hi-MD were confirmed. ?We also formatted a normal MD to Hi-MD using this unit, digitally connected it to the C-705FX2, which was sold separately, and confirmed recording to Hi-MD and recording in MDLP. ?MDLP recording was confirmed. ?We confirmed that each of the recorded sound sources could be played back normally. ?Four commercially available CDs were recorded to a Hi-MD and two MDLP discs. It took about 10 seconds for MDLP and normal MD, and about 15 seconds for Hi-MD. ?Please note that the above instruction manual on page 56 also states ? This unit is Hi-MD and MD compatible, so it will take up to 60 seconds to load. Please understand that. ?The Hi-MD is Hi-MD compatible, so it takes up to 60 seconds to load.
