The RZ50 has 9 channels of amplification (plus 2 subwoofer outputs) and supports 11 channels of processing.It means you can build a 9.2 system out of the box, and 11.2 system using an external 2 channel amp.Perfect for building a home theatre with 3 speakers in the front (left, center, right), 2 satellite (side) speakers, 2 rear speakers, and 2 or 4 (with external 2 channel amp) ceiling speakers. I used this for demo and it works perfectly. Includes all accessories except the Onkyo bundled microphone because everyone throws that piece of crap away (I lost mine) and buys a MiniDSP UMIK-1 microphone which you need to run Dirac on your PC.
