For sale is an OTARI MX 5050 SERIES motor pulled from a QXHD. It will also work on other 5050 series sucH as BII or BQII and may fit other models. You must use your own judgment when deciding which model to install the motor! It is in good working condition although it is slightly louder in the fast speed, but no crazy ticking or anything like that. However, for the sake of doing things, I will be offering it as is because this is a close out. No reasonable offers refused.

This is a very hard to find reverse block, that allows 4tr recording, and 2tr playback - opposite of the standard one. It is in very good overall condition with some head wear - I estimate the wear bands at under 2.5mm.

For sale is an OTARI MX5050 QXHD 10.5 inch 4 track 4 Channel Reel to Reel tape deck recorder (TOP HALF). It is in very good condition albeit with minor scuffs, marks as shown. You can see there is one screw missing but if I find another one, I will be sure to add it. The record lamp is out but I can definitely confirmed the deck records with no problems. Refer to pics. It has been tested, serviced, calibrated and the heads were cleaned and demagnetized for the best sound. the metal parts were lubed as well. Both channels are clear and superb sounding as well. The bottom half VU meter amplifier assembly is sold separately.! You can see by the 10th picture everything is working properly, but I have decided to sell the set separately due to the high risk of shipping both! REELS AND HUBS NOT INCLUDED!!!
