This is a very compact, well-built, powerful, high-current, high-resolution, clean sounding amplifier rated for 75 WPC into 8 ohms. It can be bridged and used with another New Classic 275 for an output of 200 WPC into 8 ohms. It would also be a great amp to connect to your receiver or integrated amplifier “pre-outs” to allow for more power and/or better sound! I have used it in an audio system and it sounds great! I wont go into all the details of this component, other than to say it requires a separate preamplifier to produce output to your speakers. There is plenty of info available online and most who are interested in this know what it is and what its capabilities are. Please look at the pictures, which show the details of condition and inputs/outputs. There is some minor scuffing on the case and minor wear at the edges of the faceplate. There may be some very minor marks on the front of the faceplate as well, but its very difficult to see. This amplifier comes with the original box/packing, original owners guide and a heavy-duty power cord. Here for your consideration is a Parasound New Classic 275 stereo power amplifier. I am an honest guy...I bought this on eBay previously and was told it was perfect. It is...about 80-90% of the time. It has a quirk from time to time that will cause the overheat/protection circuitry to prevent it from turning on. When this happens, I have simply disconnected the power cord from the amp for a few minutes, then plugged it back in and then it works perfectly! Once its working, it NEVER shuts down unless you turn it off. Very baffling, but I didnt want to be like that guy who sold it to me and then acted like he didnt know. Ive gone through it, looking for loose ground connections, or any other reasons for this. I havent found anything out of place or which would lead to such a problem. This amplifier has many push-on connectors for the circuit boards. I have reseated all that I could. I very well may have corrected it, as I have not tested it since other than to have turned it on and off about 20 times with no issues.
