Beautiful Pioneer SG-9500 silver face equalizer. Unit has been cleaned. All switches cleaned and protected with Deoxit f5. All controls working perfectly and smoothly without static or dead spots. All three PCB boards recapped with Nichicon fine gold audio capacitors. Transistors on power supply cleaned and new silicone thermal paste applied to heat sinks. New LED for power light installed with original orange light preserved. See pictures for condition. Face has one spot on the upper right corner because of prior shipper not packaging properly. And a few very tiny scratches otherwise. Top cover has some scratches and chips consistent with age. Imputes and outputs on rear are very clean. Has original feet. No strange smells. 120v. Over all a very nice unit restored so it will be stable for years with your hifi system. Will ship FedEx ground. USA lower 48 only.

Check out this amazing unit, recently purchased at an estate sale. Powers on perfectly, but has not otherwise been tested. The interior looks impeccable, with no evidence of rust or oxidation, as seen in photos. The exterior has some nicks as one would expect of a piece of this age and some of the knobs need to be straightened a bit, but with some minor cosmetic service this piece could really shine!

The unit will power on and we are able to use it as a bypass but the equalizer functions are not working. The units do not work on the unit. We are not the original owners of the unit and we do not know the history. The unit does have damaged sliders as shown. We are not accepting returns on this purchase.

Not the cheap chicom stuff you find today. Works 100% and looks nice. All original and never repaired. Tested with vintage Technics Cassette Player and Kenwood Amplifier Receiver hooked to Advent Speakers. Bid is only for the SG-9500. All electronics work as they should. Sliders are smooth with no “snap, crackle or pop” and no hums sounds. Mid detents work on all sliders. Tested left and right with appropriate outputs heard as I moved them top to bottom and bottom to top. Face is nice with a few spots slightly faded here and there; “biggest” around Tape Monitor switch. I show them in multiple images of the whole face and in sections. Hard to see a couple feet away and usually at an angle but you need to be aware. Body nice with minor blemishes and what looks like reside from a label or sticker at upper left on the back panel. Bottom intact with all feet; scratches on the bottom plate that you will never see when the unit is in place. Rear AC works. Connections secure and work. Last image shows the hook up to test with the black RCA cables to and from cassette and the grey to and from amplifier. HIFI Engine has a link to download manuals; I think it is still free to join.
