I was not able to get any sound to come out. Not sure if the needle is good or not. It did move, but sometimes seemed like it went to the center instead of starting on the edge. Vintage Pioneer PL-530 fully automatic direct drive turntable in very good overall condition. Fully working: start with auto set down, end of play lift up & turn off, manual stop mid-way and cueing is working properly (see youtube video; file too big for eBay). Can also work manually. Holds speed well and stable with adjustments working fine. Includes a vintage Stanton 681EEE cartridge and good EEE stylus. The dust cover shows some heavy scratches and some cracks as seen below but it is solid, tight & intact. The base’s covering is in pretty good shape for its years. There are some scratches & nicks on the metal faceplate though all lettering is present. Sounds very good and there are no belts or idler wheels to deal with. World-wide voltage 110-120-220-240v with selector on the back. I don’t have a good double wall box to fit so will have to pack it in an oversized one; good for padding but increases postage.
