A30.1 FEATURES  Primare 30.1 is more of a straightforward and simple amplifier design. It does not have any tone controls nor the balance control knob on the front facia. That is because the volume control is a very high precision unit that not only maintains excellent balance between channels at any volume, but increases or decreases the volume in very small increments, an excellent feature especially if the speakers have high efficiency drivers. The front facia has two very small round windows on either side of the volume knob at about 5 and 7 o’clock position. One gives you the indication of the volume level (0-79) and the other is the window for receiving remote signals. There are in all three solid looking rotary knobs, appear to be extruded aluminium and in single piece, dead centre on the facia is the volume knob, to the right is Stand-by knob and to the left source selector. On the right of the volume knob is the phase toggle button (0/180 Deg), to the left of the volume knob is the monitor button (tape selector). The three large knobs are rotary in the truest sense of the word; they continue to rotate in either direction freely having no detents or markings giving a very clean look. The back of the amplifier has 6 line level inputs, 2 XLR inputs, speaker terminals and pre-outs to the extreme left and right respectively, detachable three prong AC plug socket and a sole ground terminal.

PRIMARE, SPA23, CD21, PRISMA NP5, MONITOR AUDIO Custom. Update: 31/05 this is the last opportunity to purchase this full system, I will be listing the CD player and NP5 with shipping at the end of this auction. The speakers will be listed in an auction format for pick up only. Everything in the pictures is included in this listing. The NP5 is in perfect condition with all original packaging, it is already linked with the SPA23, so the Primare app can control some functionality. The SPA23 is also in perfect condition with all original packaging, it has been used as a main 2 channel with the addition channels powering my kitchen ceiling speakers. The CD21, is in very good condition with only very minor age related marks, but very clean for its age. The speakers are Monitor Audio Silver 8 5G originally, however they have had a massive driver upgrade to Monitor Audio gold GX300, the tweeters are original as I prefer them to the ribbons. The grills have been upgraded to aluminium mesh, with acoustic felt taped frames for zero feedback, they also have custom magnetic standoffs to prevent the drivers from contacting the grills. The outriggers are KEF with solid stainless steel spikes. The HIFI rack is unbranded as the brand name had been removed when I purchased it, however it’s built to a very high standard, it has also been upgraded with stainless steel spikes. All cables are very high quality including the power supply and speaker cables. As you can probably imagine this is a very difficult sale, but for now I’m reducing my system’s footprint, until my house has been renovated. I’m happy to demo the full system before the winning bidder commits to paying for them. Unfortunately I don’t have the boxes for the speakers, otherwise I’d ship everything.

PRIMARE PRE30 PRE amplifier (SILVER). Want a quality Preamp allowing tonnes of RCA inputs along with 2 balanced in and a balanced out to amp? Want to bypass an AV amp in order to make the front two channels pure stereo? This preamp has a monitor input where you pass the left and right from AV pre-outs directly into Monitor. The primare preserves that into a power amp allowing front two channels to be pure HI FI. It works incredibly well and its how i have used it. Comes with the spectacularly beautiful £300 remote control!! Its a billet of black and silver machined metal. Its a weapon!! I will include this. What hifi 5* review to which i can only agree. I used this with Dual A30.2 power amps and it is an amazing piece of kit. There is a teeny tiny issue that very very occaisionally the volume can jump a number. I think this is due to lack of use as i more often than not used a fixed volume. Fromt he remote, it simply works as it should. As i have been running up and down recently it had become much more consistant. It does NOT crackle as i believe its stepped attenutator which is why the unit was quite pricey! PRIMARE, SPA23, CD21, PRISMA NP5, MONITOR AUDIO Custom. Everything in the pictures is included in this listing. The NP5 is in perfect condition with all original packaging, it is already linked with the SPA23, so the Primare app can control some functionality. The SPA23 is also in perfect condition with all original packaging, it has been used as a main 2 channel with the addition channels powering my kitchen ceiling speakers. The CD21, is in very good condition with only very minor age related marks, but very clean for its age. The speakers are Monitor Audio Silver 8 5G originally, however they have had a massive driver upgrade to Monitor Audio gold GX300, the tweeters are original as I prefer them to the ribbons. The grills have been upgraded to aluminium mesh, with acoustic felt taped frames for zero feedback, they also have custom magnetic standoffs to prevent the drivers from contacting the grills. The outriggers are KEF with solid stainless steel spikes. The HIFI rack is unbranded as the brand name had been removed when I purchased it, however it’s built to a very high standard, it has also been upgraded with stainless steel spikes. All cables are very high quality including the power supply and speaker cables. As you can probably imagine this is a very difficult sale, but for now I’m reducing my system’s footprint, until my house has been renovated. I’m happy to demo the full system before the winning bidder commits to paying for them. Unfortunately I don’t have the boxes for the speakers, otherwise I’d ship everything.

THERE WAS A CLARITY AND OPENNESS TO THE D30.2's SOUND THAT MADE OTHER PLAYERS SOUND OVERSTATED AND FORCED IN COMPARISON. THEY OFTEN HAD MORE OBVIOUS DETAIL, BUT WITH THE PRIMARE, IT SEEMED AS IF THE SPACE JUST OPENED UP AND AROUND THE IMAGE, AND THAT INSTRUMENTS AND VOICES SIMPLY FLOWED, WITHOUT BEING FORCED OR MANIPULATED. THE BOTTOM LINE IS THAT THE PRIMARE D30.2 IS A WELL BUILT, STYLISH, GREAT SOUNDING CD PLAYER. I'D RECOMMEND IT TO HARDCORE AUDIOPHILES ON ITS SONIC MERITS ALONE - BUT I'D PROBABLY FIRST DISCUSS THE TRADEOFFS BETWEEN THE D30.2's BALANCE AND SIMPLICITY AND THE FEATURES, TWEAKABILITY, AND MORE OVERT PERSONALITIES OF SOME OTHER UNITS. FOR EVERYONE ELSE - THOSE WHO WANT AUDIOPHILE SOUND IN A STYLISH, COMPACT, AFFORDABLE INTEGRATED SYSTEM THAT FITS INTO THEIR SPACE AND LIFE - THERE'S NOTHING TO DISCUSS. THE PLACE TO START IS THE PRIMARE D30.2.

A30.1 FEATURES  Primare 30.1 is more of a straightforward and simple amplifier design. It does not have any tone controls nor the balance control knob on the front facia. That is because the volume control is a very high precision unit that not only maintains excellent balance between channels at any volume, but increases or decreases the volume in very small increments, an excellent feature especially if the speakers have high efficiency drivers. The front facia has two very small round windows on either side of the volume knob at about 5 and 7 o’clock position. One gives you the indication of the volume level (0-79) and the other is the window for receiving remote signals. There are in all three solid looking rotary knobs, appear to be extruded aluminium and in single piece, dead centre on the facia is the volume knob, to the right is Stand-by knob and to the left source selector. On the right of the volume knob is the phase toggle button (0/180 Deg), to the left of the volume knob is the monitor button (tape selector). The three large knobs are rotary in the truest sense of the word; they continue to rotate in either direction freely having no detents or markings giving a very clean look. The back of the amplifier has 6 line level inputs, 2 XLR inputs, speaker terminals and pre-outs to the extreme left and right respectively, detachable three prong AC plug socket and a sole ground terminal.
