Hooked this up and tested it as a 2 channel preamplifier. Boy was it quiet, with a warm wonderful sound! It would be hard to find another preamp at the price being asked that sounds this good. It lacks currently A/V features, no HDMI or Component inputs (Composite & S only). Does have 1 Optical in and several digital RCA inputs. Comes with remote/AC & original shipping carton. Does need to be set up for the various inputs that you will be using. One of the best sounding pre processors ever. It sounds as good as a top rated 2 channel pre amp in stereo. that alone is reason to grab one of these at the prices they are going for. I own this and also a meridian 568.2Its hard to compare the two, I consider both of these units to be the best of the best. AVP2 seems to have a fuller Bass while the Meridian a slightly more detailed high, again its tricky comparing these two, both give me chills. Audio Review

This came out of my working system. Primarily was used for its excellent DAC. It comes with the original remote and power cable. You will need a TV with composite or S-video to use the on screen menu and setup the inputs and outputs to your liking.

Finale time listing. I did notice this time that i had trouble getting sound from the F&L RCA output. The sub was fine. I guess the last 2 times i used it via XLR out. For this i am reducing the price despite the fact i spent $150 on digital display chips on it. I am clearing out and starting over . Works great. Sounds great. Part of display wasnt working so i bought new Yellow digital chips and installed. Cost me $150 for those chips because they are no longer made. Looks display now good for years to come. including the Harmony remote in the pic. it may or may not be set to use it but it can be easily programmed. I used my other Harmony remote on it . I am including my 2nd remote i am not using. it works just fine with the Proceed. IT IS CURRENTLY BACK IN PLACE ON MY RACK BUT WILL BE BOXED IF SOLD. MANUAL WILL BE PRINTED IF REQUESTED . The cost of the chips for the display was $150 to me so this unit is priced more than fair.
