Pair Of HH - H&H AM 8/12 Amplifiers For BBC Rogers LS3/5A - Studio Monitor Amp. These amplifiers are harder to find than the LS3/5a speakers which they were designed to drive. They are unique in that they were specifically designed for driving the LS3/5a and have an optional switched low-frequency boost which works to add bass below the LS3/5a’s lower frequency cut off. These amplifiers have been sitting in my loft for a few years unused, so may benefit from some contact cleaner spray on the jacks/sockets and also on the volume potentiometers. I could not find my original input cables, but have located two new Neutrik b-gauge (professional 1/4”) plugs which will work for making your new input cable. For the output speaker cable, I cut off the old cables so the plugs will need to be re-wired with your choice of speaker cable. The plugs have been left connected to the amp. I have also added a photo of the two LNE mains plugs which are also included. Just to be clear: you will need to make a small amount of effort to build your own cables. Or alternatively, I can possibly help - if you would like assistance then send me a message. For international shipping, I’ve only got one quote from DHL so far. ROGERS LS3/5a On offer here are a fine pair of the highly acclaimed and extremely desirable Rogers LS3/5a BBC Monitor Loudspeakers. They are an A+B matched pair that are in excellent condition, with a few scratches commensurate with their age and general use, but nothing to detract from their appearance in situ. Indeed the cabinets have naturally lightened over the years, resulting in a wonderful patina that in my opinion only enhances their charm. The underside of the cabinets are darker, which of course is of no consequence. As we have come to expect from the Rogers variant of the LS3/5a, both build and sound quality are exceptional at this price level and they would grace any quality Audio system. They come in their original box and packaging, complete with User Manual, although they will be double boxed to help ensure safe delivery. UK insured trackable delivery being £35.
