Welcome to my listing for my Rotel RA-820AX Amplifier. This classic amplifier is a sought after and great sounding unit. It delivers audio with warmth, dynamics and great clarity and imaging. The headphone output is also of very high quality, as is the phono stage. There are subtle tone controls on board or the option to bypass them, for the cleanest possible signal path. The problem is that I can hear slight distortion to the signal sometimes. You really have to listen for it as its not always there but becomes a bit more obvious with louder low frequency signals. I dare say it would be hardly noticeable for some people but I can hear it and have to mention it as it may have an issue. Its beyond my skills to diagnose this so Im starting the auction at 99p so someone can grab a great bargain, especially if theyre not too bothered by this very slight issue, or if they have the know how to give it a service and some TLC! This is a heavy and very well made amplifier in great cosmetic condition. Please study the photographs to see how nice condition it is in. Every dial and switch operates as it should. There are a few light marks on the top panel but nothing major.
