IT CAME FROM MY BASEMENT AND NOW IT NEEDS A HOME! Here’s some old gear I’ll never get around to fixing, for cheap! Maybe it’s just what you need to complete your life. Or not, it’s hopefully priced to move and I don’t need it, so bid early and often. This is a SANSUI TU-717 AM/FM ANALOG TUNER. It’s not pristine, there’s some dirt behind the back glass and tape residue here and there, but it is complete. It’s been in my basement a long time, as it was too large for my audio shelf. I plugged it in this morning to check it and it ACTUALLY WORKED— the thing is built like a tank and almost as large. The tuning is still silky smooth despite the years of neglect. It picks up AM, FM, and FM Stereo stations, the ‘calibration tone’ works, meters and LEDs work, and it didn’t blow up in the 15 minutes I tested it. I am amazed and impressed, but I still don’t have any room for it as I have even more records that when I got it. Low start bid of EIGHTY-NINE DAMN U.S. DOLLARS.
