Bass is really tight with great texture and impact, highs are very airy and detailed, overall sound signature is balanced and neutral. Due to the limited availability, the HD580 is really hard to get a hold of nowadays, so heres your chance to own one. The pair Im selling is in excellent condition with minor signs of use, which is a real rarity given its age. The original headband and cable have been replaced, but everything else is stock. In good working condtion and cable terminated with 3.5mm The body is made from cheap shiny plastic and can get marked easily. It is not visible from a distance but if you look closely (as seen in the pics), you can spot them. The big mark is on the place where the speaker capsule joins with the yoke and I think it must have been caused by resting the headphone on the table. The pads I think are still usable as I have used them sparingly (but I wouldnt say they are in new or mint condition)
