Vintage Sony PS-4750 Direct Drive Turntable - Shure V15 Type lll cartridge. Made in Japan between 1979 &81. It’s just been serviced and PAT tested by a fully qualified ex BBC audio tech. He was really impressed with its build quality and superb tone. The design and construction of the turntable and platter contributes to the depth of tone, full bass and no tinny hissy tone. It’s in generally good condition, no lid, a bit of sticker residue from the last owner. Very rarely available in the UK. Thanks for liking.

Hello, eBayers, I am offering for auction a Shure V15 Type IV Cartridge for Linear Tracking Turntables in as-is/used condition. I pulled this from a working Technics LT turntable I recently sold here, intending it for another LT project, but have decided instead to now list it on eBay. I have a video of the LT turntable producing sound on both channels but can’t seem to upload it to the site. If you are interested email me and I will try and send it to you. I don’t know much about this except it works and outputs sound; I did no further ‘critical’ listening. I have not taken a close look at the stylus tip and its condition but I did clean the stylus with a saved bottle of Audio Technica AT607 Stylus Cleaning Formula. Unfortunately the little SHURE logo on top of the cartridge has popped off and disappeared since I took the initial photos. I have used regular Shure V15s on many regular turntables in the past with great results; it was the main reason I got the deck in the first place. Because of the fragile nature of this item and no control over how you might mount this cartridge on your turntable, I cannot accept any returns, so please bid accordingly. This will be shipped in a USPS small flat rate box. I have an AudioTechnica AT-PMA1, which allows mounting the T4P cartridge on a Technics headshell. Again, no ‘critical’ testing, but both channels sounded fine, equal level when panning balance, and no hum.
