This is working but the arm lifter isnt working. I assume it needs cleaning and re-greasing. Vintage Sony PS-X60 Stereo system. Selling my beloved stereo, It has a few minor issues but lets start with the good bits It’s a PS-X60, these are quite expensive and cost me quite a bit when I bought it It works and I’ve just fitted a new needle It looks amazing The lid is intact and the lid hinges work as it should The turn table is in good condition and has a vintage J A Michell clamp (see pictures) this alone is worth around £100 The brush arm is present and works There is a spare head unit and both are original Sony head units The whole thing is in overall good condition for its age. Now the minor issues (I’ve included what I can in the pics) Sony Logo missing off the front A couple of chips to the silver fascia - very minor The start/stop button has gone missing. It still works, I’ve been using a pencil to push the buttons mechanism until I could replace it The arm locking clip is missing, I have a little rubber band to secure the arm when it’s not in use It has started to run slow, this is very slight but noticeable with LPs which is all I play (I haven’t tried 45’s ) it needs someone who knows what they are doing to have a poke around. PLEASE NOTE *This is just the player, no speakers are available as I play it through a PA and the PA isn’t for sale. These normally sell for £500 -£700 but as it has the minor issues, it needs a little TLC so I’ve started the bidding at £100 which is a fraction of what I paid for it. Genuine reason for selling, it’s too big for the space I have since moving, and I don’t have the expertise or time to sort the issues out.
