It works great, and I tested it, and it sounds great as well. I had no issues at all while testing it. You just have to have an av receiver or speakers to connect it, too. I used my headphones, and it sounded amazing. It takes all formats of cds. I used real cds, but you can use burn cds too.

This player functioned superbly for those 4 years, and was used 4 or 5 times per week. Because of downsizing, seller sold off his garage hifi components. Less than two weeks ago, this player was tested and still playing CDs great. Seller used a laser lens cleaning cd in it before shipping to an eBay customer. Upon receiving it, that buyer attempted to use this unit but it would not function. Doesn’t light up; just makes a clicking sound if plugged in, nothing else.
