Sony DAT-Recorder DTC 55 ES. This is a mature lady from the 90ies.I played Dat-Cassettes and it worked flawlessly. Two minor issues: 1. The Headphone-plug works, but the potentiometer diminuishes only one side.2. The „Music Scan“-Button is kinda stuck in. But I personally never used it and it doesn‘t harm the other functions. It comes with german manual and remote control. You can send the item back within 14 days at yout postal costs and I will refund the money, should it work not properly

Sony DTC 55 ES DAT Recorder Tapedeck not working parts or repair.. See pictures for the exact cosmetic condition of the dat recorder. Turns on, opens and closes, when a cassette is loaded both spindles spin for a bit but after this it doesnt start playing, fast forward or rewind also are not working. Most likely a gear issue though I do not know anything about dat recorders. Is missing the feet and a screw it seems. I have opened it up and it does not appear to be missing any parts. Sold as is.
