This listing is for a VINTAGE SONY MINIDISC WALKMAN PLAYER RECORDER MZ-R55. Very good condition, close to brand new, please see photos. Playback and recording were tested and item works fine. The remote control also works fine. This player uses two standard AA size batteries for power in the attached black battery holder which can be seen in the photos.

HAS CHARGER AND PLAYS ONLY WHEN PLUGGED IN. THE DISPLAY DOES NOT WORK AND THEIR IS NOTHING ON THE DISPLAY HOWEVER IT DOES PLAY MINIDISCS AND SOUND IS HEARD THROUGH THE HEADPHONES. THE BUTTONS ALL BELOW THE NON WORKING DISPLAY ALL SEEM TO WORK AS DO BUTTONS ON THE SIDE. I HAVE NOT TESTED THE RECORD BUTTON. ASWELL AS THE DISPLAY NOT WORKING THE BATTERY EITHER DOES NOT WORK OR DOES WORK BUT THE METAL CONNECTORS ON THE MINIDISC HAVE RUST ON. SO IN TOTAL IT PLAYS DISCS BUT HAS OTHER PROBLEMS.
