Remote Control Good condition with small signs of wear from use, the small plastic cover that goes over the top 8 buttons is missing, this does not effect use, see photos. Buttons all tested and work without having to press them hard Requires 2 x AA batteries (Not included)

I bought this a few weeks ago to digitize 7 VHS tapes, unfortunately it arrived with problems. Cosmetically the machine & Remote are in superb condition. This is what playback looks like, so it needs a path alignment which appears to be a fairly simple job if you know how to do it & have an oscilloscope. It’s not something I’m interested in doing. https://youtu.be/DXCVWeBCM3o I also then found that it stopped playing completely after I’d tilted it so took it to bits & did a quick crash course on how VCRs work. I found the issue is the left hand wheel seems to have come loose which I demonstrate in this video. It should have the tape wrapped around it & withdraw to the front on eject, as you can see if it is pushed forward it then works as intended & so this problem can be solved by tipping the machine forward when there is no tape in it & it should be fine after that until it is moved. I didn’t find a clear answer but I think there should be some kind of clip on the bottom side. https://youtu.be/D2u1OPR8N-U I’m no expert so take what I say with a pinch of salt, but from the couple of hours looking at it, those seem to be the 2 issues.
