This Spectral Preamp was working great for my dad some years ago but now has issues. BOTH channels have power and audio but there is static and popping. Also the PHONO has a very loud hum that I can not figure out. You can here audio thru both channels are putting out audio. All inputs work but phono has the hum. Therefore I’ve decided to put this up here on eBay to see if there are any audiophiles who are looking for a fun project with this legendary piece of gear. I may try and fix it soon if it doesn’t sell but, currently I do not have time. Comes with the power supply and homemade 5-pin XLR cable. Works as it should but could be replaced. I have included pics of the interior so you can see how clean and beautiful it is on the inside. All original.

This Spectral DMC-10 preamplifier is a top-of-the-line device perfect for audiophiles who value high-quality sound. It has been in my collection for the last few years. I am the second owner of this one. Just time for the next person to appreciate this great preamp. Everything works as it should but just never liked that these didnt have a power switch. Guess it was better to control through monster power anyway. There are a few small blemishes on the face that are shown in the pics. I do believe there should be a blue light on the power supply. It is not working. Guessing it was a common issue since I have only seen a few with it still working. If you have any questions let me know. It will be packed properly.

Overall, this piece is in fantastic condition! Very clean and functioning as it should. There is one hairline scratch on the left of the faceplate and a very small scratch at the top edge as shown.
