Spendor SP2/3R2 speakers In Pristine Condition in classic Cherry Veneer finish. RRP 2795. What HiFi 5* rated. If you are looking then you know what reputation the speakers have and their credentials. I will add that they have been well looked after and offered in Pristine Condition. I am selling due to an upgrade. With original grills. Offered without stands... I had them on Atacama which I picked up for 200 and filled with granite, and they did the job perfectly well but I am keeping them for my new speakers. Excellent sound . Rated in top 18 British built speakers of all time in a What Hifi article I have the original boxes, they are a bit tatty but functional. Single Spendor LS3/5A White Belly 15 Ohm 4 Digit Serial 1024 Tested Working. This is a very rare Spendor LS3/5A. Its the only one of these Ive seen with a 4 digit serial number that doesnt have 0s in front of it. Unfortunately I only have the single speaker and not the pair. The cabinet is pretty rough and could use refinished. The main speaker has some sort of what appears to be an air separation on the cone that comes out from the white belly. If I had to guess Id imagine heat caused the top layer of the cone to life up from the layer beneath it. The speaker sounds great and as far as audio quality it is working as it should. Spendor A7 hifi speakers RRP £3995. Exceptional Condition. Just over two years old and in immaculate condition. No dings, no dents, no scuffs, no marks, literally nothing. The area under the fabric grilles has not not faded in sunlight at the same pace as the rest of the cabinets and I have reflected this in the price. If you intend to use these with the grilles on, or if you are happy to play the long game of waiting for the sunlight effect to even out over time (or you value sound above everything else of course!), you have an absolute bargain here. Purchased new in August 2019, these highly regarded Spendors are in perfect ‘as new’ condition. The 2/3s are currently priced at £4,350.00. I am including the dedicated Hi-Fi Racks Fortis stands, purchased soon after, currently priced at £761.93 (See photo one) total value being £5111.93. Everything comes in original boxes. The speaker grills are of course included. Better than ex-dem specimens, these speakers are absolutely flawless and like buying brand new. EXTRAS As you will see from the pictures, there are four large boxes, the speakers being particularly heavy, and it would be virtually impossible to co-ordinate a delivery, it will therefore be necessary for the buyer to collect the items from my home. For the inconvenience, I am keeping the price very low, and including, free of charge, my own workshop constructed tailor-made speaker stands, made while I waited for the Fortis stands. They are made from solid mahogany (for the pillars) and bamboo for the upper and lower supports. (See pictures). They have screw columns for spikes and work an absolute treat providing improved base definition. I ended up using these most of the time, but you may prefer the Fortis stands which provide slight improvements in the upper midrange. I am also including 2x4 Soundcare Superspikes which will fit either the Fortis Stands or my workshop stands. Personally, I prefer them with the workshop stands, the fortis stands come with their own spikes. The Superspikes would set you back around £120.00 Finally, I include 8 (2x4) Pro-Ject ‘Damp it’ absorber feet, which will work perfectly with either sets of speaker stands or underneath components providing an extra touch of refinement.
