Up for auction is a used Tascam CD-A500 rack-mount CD/cassette combination player. Tested recording and playback and all works as it should. The pitch control knob is missing but the control works (I used the headphone level knob to adjust the pitch control). The headphone level control is a little scratchy- turning it back and forth a bunch of times or Deoxit spray should remedy that. The only operational issue noted is that, with a cassette inserted, when the power is turned on, the cassette starts playing without having to push the Play button. Both transports work fine aside from the above issue (this could actually be by design- I dont have the manual). Original remote control is included. Cosmetic condition is very good overall- theres some imperfections on the top cover but the faceplate and controls are in very nice shape. Offered AS IS, as described.
