Non si nota laumento di spessore, essendo in origine, almeno il mio esemplare, leggermente più bassa della piastra su cui va fissata. Vendo solo in Italia e UE, con formula visto e piaciuto. This is in good used condition. It has been in the family for many years, but has not been used for quite some time. The plastic lid has some scratches etc and I have tried to include as many pictures as I can to give you an honest all round description This has an SME 3009 ARM complete with wires and weights and in good working order. Also a SHURE V15 cartridge/stylus Which as you will be aware are quite rare and valuable on their own It plugs in and turns on but it currently has the original connectors for the amp which we no longer have and they are out-dated, so we are unable to plug into our current amp. We have purchased a new connector and can have it replaced at the new owners request...but respect of all things vintage, we will leave in original condition. This Rare original Thorens TD125 Mk2 deck was bought by my late brother in1970, over the years he has kept it totally original changing the stylus every few years and replacing drive belts as required. I have been using it almost daily for the last two years and it works perfectly. It has a Shure VN cartridge and stylus with a two old styluss that I expect are fine as my brother changed them every few years whether they need to be or not. The plastic lid is in very good condition with extremely slight surface scratches as you would expect from a turntable that over 50 years old, the platter and all of the other parts are in excellent condition as is the veneer case. It has the original TP16 tone arm, this is often changed but this is what came with the original specification. I have seen one of these advertised for over £1500. Im not expecting that but I think it is worth at least the starting price given its condition and rarity value, that it has a rare and excellent cartridge and stylus with spare styluss I wont be giving it away for less than I feel its worth so I have set a reserve accordingly. Following the legendary TD 124, the TD 125 was the next ‘state of the art’ turntable. The series TD 125 were costly to produce, with a cast metal chassis. The MK II came with the above noted TP16 tonearm that featured a completely new gimbal bearing design. And the TP16 was always offered with a remote cable operated cue mechanism. The TD125 has taken a giant step in banishing rumble, with solid state circuitry replacing the conventional mechanical methods used for electronic speed control. This reduces the number of moving parts and total mass so frequently a rumble producing factor. Motor rotor velocity, another rumble originator, is precisely governed by a dependable Wein Bridge transistorised oscillator. Its frequency is varied exactly to change the speed of the motor and these adjustments may be viewed instantly on the built-in stroboscope. Motor rotor speed on the TD-125 has been reduced to an incomparable 250rpm at 33 1/3rpm turntable speed. By combining this factor with solid-state circuitry and the Wein Bridge oscillator, Thorens has reduced rumble to an infinitesimal and inaudible -48db (-68db weighted); less rumble than any other turntable on the market. The tonearm and turntable platter of the TD-125 are mounted on an independent chassis. This unit is then shock mounted to another chassis which houses the drive system and controls. As a consequence the tonearm is protected against shocks when the controls are operated and acoustic feedback is minimised because of the absence of vibrations. Vibrations are further decreased by the precision polished, self-lubricating bearings of the turntable platter. The Thorens TD 125 is a turntable classic still sounding better than most new tables sold today.

Fu il Giradischi di molte Discoteche come la Baia degli Angeli e molte altre. (se richiesto, viene dotato di Cinghia nuova di ricambio, quella installata è pure nuova; si consiglia la testina già montata Shure R 47 XT con stilo originale nuovo, che ottimizza bene il suono) valutazione a parte. Per quanto riguarda la sua costruzione di base, il TD 125 utilizzava una sezione superiore in fusione di alluminio che sosteneva il cuscinetto principale, il piatto e la base del braccio. Il motore, lelettronica e la lampada per illuminare lo stroboscopio erano montati su un pannello di acciaio stampato che faceva parte del basamento. Le rondelle di gomma garantivano lassenza di contatto metallo-metallo. Il TD 125 si distingueva visibilmente dal TD 150 non solo per le dimensioni maggiori, ma anche per la striscia di alluminio che correva sul frontale, contenente i controlli rettangolari, con una superficie superiore principale nera, in contrasto con la piastra superiore prevalentemente in metallo del TD 150. Per quanto riguarda la sospensione, era costituita da tre molle coniche in coppe regolabili. Per luso in discoteca - sì, oltre 40 anni fa - il TD 125 poteva essere convertito con sfere di smorzamento in gomma al posto delle molle più morbide. Un TD 125 correttamente impostato è abbastanza floscio, ma non così comico, ma la rigidità aggiuntiva per luso del club era consigliabile. Dotato dello storico originale braccio, regolabile nel peso e nellantiskating. Nella foto si vede il panno ma viene fornito con il disco di gomma originale.
