For sale is a TEAC X-2000R 10.5 inch 4 track Auto Reverse Reel to Reel tape deck recorder. It is in excellent condition albeit with minor scuffs, marks as shown. Refer to pics. It has been tested, serviced, calibrated and the heads were cleaned and demagnetized for the best sound ever. This deck has been updated with Nichicon UPW Capacitors, blue VU METER LAMPS and and indestructible custom made Solid Oak wooden cabinet! Owners manual included! A new drive belt was installed. The mic inputs were tested and they work as well as the other inputs. The pots and switches were sprayed and the metal parts were lubed as well. Both channels are clear and superb sounding as well. All the functions work and the VU Meters jump like they are supposed to. The sound when recording at 3 3/4 IPS is very clear and better and wider sounding than the Source recording from, depending on the type of tape used and better at 7 1/2 IPS. You can use both 7 inch and 10 1/2 inch reels! The heads are also in very good shape which is obviously why the quality is awesome as well. Pictured reels are for testing, for demonstration purposes only and NOT INCLUDED! I will, however, include the hub adapters, an empty 10 1/2 inch metal reel, 2 Maxell UD metal reels with 3600ft of tape and a BRAND NEW 3600 ft reel of Quantegy tape, if the deck is purchased at FULL PRICE TO SWEETEN THE DEAL!!
