All features work. There is one of the 4 very thin feet pads missing, but I can’t tell any real difference- seems to sit level with 3 of the 4. This Technics is an excellent tape deck that works, but could use some tlc. It plays tapes fine, but it could probably use a tape head servicing and cleaning. All the Dolby functions work. The Dolby C button is a little wonky, but it still functions. This was an excellent tape deck for its time and still is. This one has been used and has some marks and scratches on the case, but it works. Enjoy.

Pretty sweet little unit I picked up hoping to play my tape collection through. Unfortunately, none of the buttons work. Idk whats wrong with it. VU meters light up, and they jump when I load a cassette in it. I opened it up looking for something obvious like a fuse but I couldnt see anything. I did see the big motor wheel thing by the deck itself spinning around. Belt running to the counter looks in tact and fine. Im guessing something is wrong with the board with the controls? I really dont know. I have no knowledge when it comes to fixing these things. Looking to pass it on to someone who can bring it back to life because its sweet. I bought another deck this is just taking up space

Welcome to my listing for my Technics RS-B605 Cassette Deck. This is an incredible sounding deck and is in full working order. I have fully cleaned the tape path, heads, capstans and rollers. I have also calibrated the deck and set the azimuth correctly so it is working at its optimum level straight out of the box. The tape mechanism is very stable and the sound quality is very impressive indeed, right across the frequency spectrum with a very vivid, lively an detailed presentation. The top end is pure and alive and the low end open and dynamic. This cassette deck will really help you get the most out of your cassettes, whether that be playback of pre-recorded tapes or for making excellent, transparent recordings at home. This Denon deck has all the features you need to do that, including Dolby B and C noise reduction and the rarely employed but superb dbx noise reduction system. Technics have a long and illustrious history of producing very high quality cassette decks and this one is no exception. Even the headphone jack sounds really good. As you can see from the pictures, this deck is in excellent condition throughout, as are the heads and transport. There is some wear around the power button and one noticeable scratch at the rear corner of the top panel but that is it.
