We sell unique and amazing items every week which help fund patient care. From vintage clothing to collectable treasures, we have a wide range of wonderful items. Everyone with a life limiting illness deserves access to the best possible care and to live their final days with dignity. Every year St Peters Hospice makes a difference in the lives of thousands of patients and their families when it matters most. Whether that is help managing pain, bereavement support or providing relief from symptoms, the hospice team works 24/7 to support individuals and families as they navigate the challenges of living with a life limiting illness. Our Inpatient Unit is a state of the art centre of clinical excellence, that was built with the generous support of the people of Bristol. Beyond our Inpatient Unit, youll find our team in homes and on the phone 24/7. More recently in response to the pandemic we have moved some services online to continue support for our patients. The Hospice is also a centre of educational excellence and we teach other healthcare professionals about how to care for people at the end of their lives, supporting the NHS and care homes provide end of life care. However, despite being a front line service, only 22% of our funding comes from the NHS. The rest is raised in our community. All of this work would not be possible without the support of you, our wonderful community. We cannot thank you enough. Postage and payments: Please pay for your items within 3 working days of the auction ending via Paypal. We are unable to accept payment by cheque, postal order or cash. We dispatch our items within 3 working days of payment however if you would like us to dispatch your item the same working day as payment completes please contact us via message. International delivery is provided to you by Global Shipping Program. Prices and tracking information will be provided by them. The majority of our items are sent using Royal Mail. However, if an item weighs over 2kg, or is more than 90cm in length, it will be sent by courier as it is outside of Royal Mail size restrictions. In these cases, locations outside of the UK mainland will be excluded from bidding. We encourage our customers to select a tracked service at checkout. If you select either Royal Mail standard 1st or 2nd class this does not automatically come with tracking. If you choose a signed for service items are automatically insured up to £50 (when sent via Royal Mail). For items with a starting price (or Buy It Now price) of £50 or more we have automatically included a higher level of Royal Mail insurance and this is reflected in the postal charge quoted on the listing. It is your responsibility to contact us (prior to payment) if you require a further level of insurance over and above what is quoted. Items sent via courier are insured up to the value of £20 as standard. We automatically insure items of a higher value (where the courier offers cover) and this is reflected in the quoted postal charges. If you are in the Highlands or Islands please message us for a quote before bidding. If you purchase two or more items we are happy to send out as one package to combine postage for you. Please message us before you pay with the details of the items you are purchasing for a postal quote. Collections: Paid for items can be collected in person from our offices in Avonmouth, Bristol. We politely request that items are collected within 5 working days of purchase, unless pre-arranged with our team. Our opening hours are Monday – Friday 9am – 4pm (excluding Bank Holidays). We accept all returns within 60 days of purchase. Please contact us for help or open a return via the eBay returns centre if you would like to return your item. In the rare event that an item is damaged in transit the process couldnt be simpler. If possible, send us a photo of the item in the received condition and we will contact you to resolve the issue.
